Denise Austin on YouTube's Be Fit Channel

Would it kill to be this darn fit? :)

I've always loved Denise Austin and her killer bod. She could pass off as Steven Cojocaru's sister, there's a slight resemblance. Her voice though nasal sounds comforting as you go through those reps, she has very motherly feel about her kinda like the kindergarten teacher who likes to talk slowly to her preschoolers. Overall, Denise Austin always delivers a great workout!

The SafetyTat: Mommy's Contact Info Can Be Scan with a SmartPhone

A bit Orwellian, but I welcome this innovative way to keep track of the kids. For any mom who has ever lost track of their kids for even a single moment in the supermarket, amusement park, mall, fair grounds, ball game, parade or any large crowd- this comes very handy as kids can easily wander off on their own.

The SafetyTatQR is a medical-grade, hypoallergenic, latex-free adhesive that you can stick on your child's skin which contains your mobile phone, number and other emergency data like a child's medical condition (Asthmatic, Has Penicillin Allergies, etc)

I used to do things old school like write my phone number on my kids' stuff, sew-in our home address on their jackets or slip in wads of paper with contact info in my kids' shoes. Well now I'm opting for the SafetyTat :)

The Big C-Section

I have had 2 C-section births - both medically necessary. I had preeclampsia (swelling, high blood pressure, lots of bed rest) with my oldest (2 yrs) and a complete previa (LOTS of bleeding, rushed to hospital bleeding in an ambulance) with my baby (5 1/2 mths). I feel so very blessed and happy to have both of my beautiful girls and to be alive to watch them grow. I try not to let ugly comments get me riled up, and I certainly try not to make them.

All I can say is that pregnancy is nothing to joke about or make ugly comments about. Think of all the moms that went home without their babies or the babies that went home without their moms, or, in some cases, where no one went home at all. Instead of making ugly comments back to whatever someone said, maybe we should start thanking God or our lucky stars to be so very blessed.
